Honourable mentions also go to Annie Lennox and Gwen Stefani (with 6 votes each) either of whom I'd love to look or sound like. Nina Hagen, Bjork, Lene Lovich, Siouxsie Sioux, Toyah Wilcox and Annabella Lewin all got votes which probably says more about my taste in hair than any sign of talent. Strawberry Switchblade even got a vote and I'd be in heaven to borrow their wardrobe, never mind sing like them. Ten points goes to the voter who got that pop-culture reference in. Shirley Manson, Pat Benetar, Joan Jet, J Lo, and strangely even Mariah Carey got a couple of votes each. The remaining votes got so obscure in places that even Google hadn't heard of them.
